THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD: CHRISTMAS GOOSE

Preparing to decorate for Christmas festivities, young David happily picks mistletoe and berries in a tree. Matilda, his watchful goose, attacks the stern owner of the property when he tries to discipline David. The man demands that Matilda be put on trial. Sir Leon, the Lord of the Manor, judges that Matilda's execution will be followed by serving her up as Christmas dinner. It's up to Robin (Richard Greene) to save her neck.

ANNIE OAKLEY: SANTA CLAUS WEARS A GUN

Snowy Kringle, an elderly sharpshooter now retired from circus performing, discovers that his boots have disappeared while he is in Dodge City. He boards a train heading for Diablo. Also on that train is the army payroll.

The payroll is robbed from the train depot shortly after arrival, and the man who robs it is wearing a pair of boots with the initials S. K. on them. Sheriff Craig arrests Snowy, but Annie Oakley (Gail Davis) and her little brother Tagg (Jimmy Hawkins) come to Kringle's defense, convinced that someone who looks so much like Santa can't be that bad!

BURNS & ALLEN: CHRISTMAS SHOW

In George and Gracie's second Christmas show, Gracie's in her usual flutter as she expects company for the holiday. Jumbling everything up, she takes on the errand of picking up her friend Mamie Kelly and her children at the train station. Later, the Kelly kids joyously find all the Christmas presents that had been hidden. Once the ensuing mass confusion is settled, George and Gracie rescue the Christmas spirit. The show ends with an appearance by Santa (George Burns) and a telling of Gracie's own rendition of "A Christmas Carol."

CAPTAIN GALLANT OF THE FOREIGN LEGION: THE BOY WHO FOUND CHRISTMAS

In this special Christmas show, Cullen Crabbe, the son of the show's star, Buster Crabbe, plays a child named Cuffy Sanders. Cuffy has never seen snow. Associating snow with the true meaning of Christmas, he decides to set off on a horse to search for snow. Perhaps he will have to go to the United States to find what he is looking for, but he is a determined young man. Find out if Captain Gallant finds the missing child or if Cuffy is in for a very lonely, saddle-sore Christmas. Will Cuffy ever learn the true meaning of Christmas?

DATE WITH THE ANGELS: CHRISTMAS SHOW

Elderly, lovable neighbor Mr. Finley (Burt Mustin) feels like he needs something to do with his life. He confides to Vickie Angel (Betty White) that he wants a job, so she gets her friend at a department store to give him one. Little does department store owner Roger Finley (Richard Deacon) know that his new Santa—his own father—just loves to give away big gifts straight from the store's stock to make the children happy. Can Vickie come up with a solution that will make everyone happy?

DRAGNET: BIG NEW YEAR

Detective Sergeant Joe Friday (Jack Webb) and his friend Frank are looking forward to attending the New Year's Eve party that Lloyd Hopper has invited them to. But trouble—big trouble—is never far away when Joe Friday is around. As Lloyd is on his way home from work, he is brutally murdered. Follow Detective Sergeant Friday as he investigates the clues and tracks down the man who spoiled the new year by committing a heinous crime. This dramatic story of old-fashioned, "just the facts" criminal investigation, like all the other Dragnet shows, was taken from an actual case file.
