Detailed Description
Five Minutes To Live DVD In his film debut, Johnny Cash plays a level-headed murderer named Johnny Cabot who teams up with another con (Tayback) in a scheme to hold a bank president's wife hostage. But what they don't know is that the bank president is planning to run off to Las Vegas with his mistress and couldn't care less about his wife. While his accomplice tries in vain to collect the $70,000 ransom, Cabot watches the housewife, who slips into a negligee and attempts to seduce her captor, while he coolly remarks "I guess you gals are all alike when ol' Johnny steps on your starter." Originally released in 1961 as Five Minutes to Live, the picture was re-released five years later as Door-To-Door Maniac, to cash in on Johnny's considerably bigger fame at that time.
