Carole King - Tapestry, 2-CD Edition
Tapestry is one of my all-time favorite CDs. My favorite tracks are Beautiful, Way Over Yonder, and Where You Lead, but I also love the big hits, the ballads So Far Away, It's Too Late and You've Got a Friend, as well as the rockier I Feel the Earth Move and Natural Woman. This 2-CD version includes the original album, but what makes it really special is the second CD, live concert versions, circa 1973-1976, of the album tracks (except Where You Lead), in order. Hearing Carole's voice, accompanied only by her piano is a real treat. Highly recommended!
